You've been telling yourself for ages: "I should start a podcast"! But you've never really taken that next step and actually done it. Whether you're podcasting for business or for fun, this workshop will give you the tools, and most importantly, the push, to actually get in and do it!

You'll learn:

• How to plan an engaging and thoughtful podcast that engages your listeners and doesn't burn you out to produce!

• How to record your show, how to edit out the fluffed lines, and how to publish it for everyone to listen to!

• Things to consider when promoting and running your show.

• Nicolette will help you get the most out of your podcast guest by guiding you through the art and ethics of asking questions

And you'll leave with your podcast already started, so you can go home and finally get around to releasing that podcast!

Bring:

• Laptop if you've got one, with free & open-source audio editing software Audacity installed.

• Something to write on- either a notepad and pen or you can use your laptop if you're bringing one.

PLUS have in mind:

• A podcast idea, or a few! Doesn't have to be groundbreaking, we'll workshop it in the course!

• One question that you could ask a member of the general public about your podcast topic. Again, there will be a chance to workshop it.
